FESTIVAL NECKLACE - SILVER
FESTIVAL NECKLACE - SILVER
A celebration of modernism.
The Festival Necklace is a modernist leather necklace, originally created by Tania as part of a jewellery collection for the Royal Festival Hall in London.
The striking geometry of the piece is inspired by the architectural arrangement of auditorium boxes within this iconic 1950s landmark. Hand cut with precision by Tania, a staggered sequence is shaped into the leather and the edges finished in silver. It is on the body that this piece comes to life - the staggered sequence shifting to a single dashed line as it curves around the neck.
At once bold and understated, this piece is featherlight and effortlessly wearable - with a discrete magnetic clasp that does not detract from the graphic line of gold dashes.

For over two decades, Tania Clarke Hall has pioneered leather as a fine jewellery material - handcrafting sculptural pieces that challenge convention. Each piece is made by Tania in her London studio and designed to be worn for years. An understated but effective necklace. The bold coloured segments create a strong geometric pattern around the neck. A very popular necklace.
