ONE DAY INTRODUCTION TO LEATHER JEWELLERY - COCKPIT ARTS, LONDON

Join me in my studio for an introduction to leather jewellery. This class is taught in a group of maximum three students. By the end of this intense but fun one day class you will be able to:
- cut and hole punch leather
- attach Sam Brown fixings
- work with vegetable tanned & gold foiled leather
- glue leather
- make a cuff to size
- make a simple pair of earrings
This class is suited for complete beginners as well as those with some jewellery experience. The small size of the class means that there will be plenty of one on one support.

A series of 3 days of teaching giving a strong basis from which to start designing and making your own leather jewellery. The course includes techniques such as dyeing, glueing, riveting and hole punching leather, as well as cuff construction, making earrings and a number of fun methods of surface decoration. Teaching can easily be arranged for individuals or small groups from complete novices to jewellers looking to explore new materials. Each session can be tailored to meet your needs whether it be a fun afternoon making a cuff or for design development.
Teaching takes place at my studio at Cockpit Arts, Holborn, London.
